Holcombe-Jimison Farmstead Museum

Open Sundays 1-4 during the months of May thru October, the Holcombe-Jimison Farmstead Museum is a historic goldmine. Step back in time to visit to the original home of John Holcombe, built in 1711, and an authentic farm village. The main barn is full of antique farm implements, with a rustic woodworking shop upstairs. The building and the herb garden are surrounded by the buildings of an early agricultural community; a general store, a functioning blacksmith, a post office, a print shop, a barber shop, and a doctors office, all untouched by the passage of time. Staffed by dedicated, knowledgeable volunteers, the farmstead is an amazing piece of living history that children and adults alike will fall in love with.

Haas Gallery

The Haas Gallery is a spot where local meets worldwide. Gordon Haas is an exceptional painter, reimagining the beautiful landscapes of Bucks County as well as Italy and France. The man himself can almost always be found in his gallery, working on the newest piece or sharing stories of his travels. The originals and prints come in a variety of sizes, which make them a great deal for any space and any budget. The Haas Gallery shows many examples of how talented and knowledgeable the owner Gordon Haas is as a landscape artist, and his friendly demeanor and attitude make the experience all the more worthwhile.

Golden Nugget Flea Market

Whether you’re a seasoned antique hunter or looking for something to do on the weekend, the Golden Nugget Flea Market has something for you. Typically crowded with dozens and dozens of vendors, you can find anything from dolls, furniture, jewelry, and buttons to war memorabilia, fabrics, art, and everything in between. Prices range from expensive to cheap, and haggling is the name of the game. There are two small eateries if you fancy a quick snack without losing your parking spot, as well as limited indoor shopping.

Howell Living History Farm

If you want to spend your visit outdoors, find your way to the Howell Living History Farm. You can take in the scenic farmland and rustic barns and remind yourself of a simpler time.
