Berkshire was designed in Italy to demonstrate how sophisticated a casual leather can be. Unlike distressed leather, the varying hues of this leather are more subtle and flowing, resulting in a leather with an authentic, worn-in aesthetic with remarkable elegance and warmth. After the crust stage, hides are lightly dressed with oil and soft waxes and then lightly polished and milled to create a vintage look. This less-is-more approach in tanning preserves and celebrates the beauty of this natural material.
